Mr. X is a 2015 Indian 3D sci-fi thriller directed Vikram Bhatt, written by Shagufta Rafique, and produced by Mukesh Bhatt. The film stars Emraan Hashmi andAmyra Dastur. The film revolves around a man who gains the power of invisibility, and becomes a vigilante to take revenge on those who have wronged him. The official trailer was released on 5 March 2015. The film released in both 2D and 3D on 17 April 2015.[1]
Plot[edit]
Young couple who are government officers dedicated to their jobs and the nation. They are impassioned about their work and each other. All that changes in an instant in the face of a shocking betrayal which turns the tables on both of them. A potent solution to all of these crimes is discovered by the young man, in the form of invisibility, a condition that befalls the hero. The power of invisibility can be used to great good or can be corrupted to great evil; which does he choose? Especially when confronted with the one obstacle between achieving his goal and becoming all live without his love

Production[edit]
In October 2013, it was announced that Emraan Hashmi and Amyra Dasturwould star in the upcoming 3D thriller directed by Vikram Bhatt, slated for a 17 April 2015 release. The trailer was released on 5 March 2015.[2] Music by Ankit Tiwari and Jeet Ganguly.
Marketing[edit]
As part of film promotion, Emraan Hashmi appeared in a special episode ofCID on Sony Entertainment Television.[3] Emraan and Amyra will be seen on popular youth show Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan as part of their promotion.

Reception[edit]
Bollywood Hungama gave it 2.5 stars.[7] Rajeev Masand gave 1 star calling it "It is a singularly humourless film".[8] Hindustan Times gave one star stating "It's a bizarre tale of an invisible kisser ".[9] Firstpost gave negative reviews stating "Emraan Hashmi, intelligence and talent, everything is invisible in the film".[10] The Times of India critic gave the movie 3 stars.[11]Ritika Handoo of Zee News praised the performance of Emraan Hashmi.[12] NDTV gave the movie only one star.[13] Tushar Joshi of Daily News and Analysis criticised the movie as "There's nothing to see, not even Emraan Hashmi".[14] The Indian Express gave only half star.[15] Vinayak Chakravorty of India Today gave the movie 2 stars.[16]

The soundtrack of the album is composed by Jeet Ganguly, Ankit Tiwari and Ankur Tiwari. With lyrics penned by Rashmi Singh, Mohnish Raza, Abhendra Kumar, Manoj Shukla. Singers Arijit Singh and Ankit Tiwari have lent their voice and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt makes his debut as a playback singer[17] in the film. The first single "Tu Jo Hain" was released on 16 March 2015.[18] [19]
